Get stronger and fitter while little eyes learn lifetime habits

Looking after your health and fitness shouldn’t cause nervousness or guilt, but that’s not always the case when little ones transform your life. Our Strong Parents classes offer an environment that’s not just baby/toddler friendly, but designed for you and your little ones from start to finish.

  • Our high quality programming will (re)build your strength and fitness, meeting you at your level

  • Core and pelvic floor recovery will be prioritised for birth mums (plus it’s good for everyone!)

  • Our coaches are trained to safely guide post-partum training, as well as holding CrossFit and personal training qualifications

  • You’ll have access to a wide range of equipment, and your baby will have a play area

  • We’ll enable you to train hard as hard as you want, even when your baby wants to join in!

How do the classes work?

  • Classes run every Monday from 10.45am to 11.45am at Newbury CrossFit and Performance Centre

  • For existing members, they’re included in our Gold and Silver membership packages

  • For non-members, it’s £10 for a single class, or £80 for a block of ten for flexible use over 6 months

  • Classes will combine strength, conditioning and mobility, utilising our high quality equipment and gym space

  • Classes are open to parents, grandparents and primary carers, with particular focus on post-partum training

  • We welcome babies form two months old, as long as you’ve been cleared by your GP to start exercising

  • We’ll provide a play pen to keep your little ones busy while you train, plus changing mats

  • You’ll get a tailored, challenging workout, but if they’d like to ‘join in’ we can help you adapt movements.

  • If you need to stop to feed, change or hold your baby, that’s no problem either, you’ll be able to easily jump in and out

Meet coaches Anna and Alex

Anna is a level one certified CrossFit trainer and has undertaken pre-and post-natal training. She is mum to two year old Elsie, who regularly joins her at the gym to be inspired by Anna’s passion for fitness. Anna also loves yoga, hiking and lots of stomping in the woods with Elsie.

Alex has qualifications in personal training and pre-and post natal training, and has spent many years show jumping as well as training in the gym, now with baby Otis. She believes motherhood brings even more strength and is passionate about removing the guilt that comes with parents taking time for themselves.
